To strengthen our team, we are looking for a permanent, full-time or part-time (50%) position at our Munich location or in the greater Milan area (Italy).
Sales Manager Trade Fairs (m/f/d)
In this role, you will take on a leading role for our Solids Parma from the very beginning and be a link between exhibitors and the event. You are part of a dynamic, flexible and competent sales team that works together to ensure the success of the trade fairs.
You distinguish yourself through entrepreneurial thinking, have a communication talent and know how to inspire and convince others.
Your tasks:
- Independent sales in cooperation with the sales and marketing team as well as with the project management
- Customer approach via telephone and online channels to acquire new customers and cooperation partners
- Acquisition & maintenance of new and existing customers with the help of the CRM tool Salesforce
- Key account management of partners and existing customers
- Advising exhibitors on their participation in the trade fair (sponsorships, marketing, etc.)
- Preparing offers and conducting negotiations until the contract is signed
- Continuous market observation and identification of new customer potential
- Selling our international trade fairs to the Italian exhibitor potential
- Personal customer care at the fairs and visits to competitor fairs
Your profile:
- You are fluent in Italian and have a good command of German and/or good written and spoken English.
- First professional experience in sales desirable and advantageous
- Self-confident and stylistically self-assured appearance in discussions with decision-makers
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a strong service and customer orientation
- Self-motivation & will to succeed in negotiations, closing power & enjoyment of results
- Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as sales-relevant tools for customer data management
- Willingness to travel
